"I must say, there’s a lot going for this well-written story of a woman attempting, and very much succeeding, in finding herself after being let down by her husband-to-be. 
 
Not only is there a very honest feel to the book, but there’s also humour too – and the central message (the importance of loving yourself) is so important in a world suffering from the aftermath of the pandemic.
 
When I first saw this book and checked out the blurb, I was instantly hooked. The three words in the title ‘My Solo Wedding’ captivated me – how, I thought, can you have a wedding ON YOUR OWN!? It just shows how the power of a title and a strong blurb can pull a reader in. And I’m very glad it did pull me in. 
 
The author’s story is truly inspiring; not only that, it’s empowering too, particularly for women.
 
All in all, I’m very happy to recommend this captivating book to anybody who enjoys being moved by another person’s story. It was compelling watching the author grow and find herself, ending up a much stronger and wiser woman.
